From Anderson Homes

Anderson Homes has been working diligently the last 45 days on a very exciting project. For those of you that do not know, we are moving our office to Downtown Beaumont! The new facility will also house the Anderson Artisans’ carpentry shop. We are very excited to be under one roof where we can showcase our in-house, custom craftsmanship.

We are also pumped to be apart of the revitalization of Downtown Beaumont! I don’t know if you guys have seen Hometown Takeover on HGTV. It is such a cool concept and definitely my favorite show to watch with my family after work in the evenings. The hosts of the show help fix up businesses and the homes of area leaders to help grow the community. Maybe our new space will spur others to move downtown and renovate some of the great existing architecture that can be found down here. I know we are excited for the new restaurant Hearsay to open up across the street!

Additionally, Anderson was very excited to be able to team up with Beaumont Mainstreet for our Downtown move. While we had been a long standing member of the organization, Tom Bell and Beaumont Mainstreet have been invaluable help in realizing our goal to move our operations to Downtown Beaumont.

Tom was instrumental in helping to communicate with the City of Beaumont and the Texas Historical Commission to receive maximum tax credits and benefits for building in both a Business Development Area, as well as a Historical area. Tom helped to research the history of the existing building and determining that it did fall within the Historical District of Downtown Beaumont.

Beaumont Mainstreet was able to provide Anderson Homes with a low interest loan for our project through their revolving loan program. Our project would not have been successful as quickly as it has without Beaumont Mainstreet’s backing and support and Anderson Homes is very thankful for the help.

We are looking forward to being a part of the Downtown Beaumont Community, and we can’t wait for our new space to be ready for our upcoming custom projects!

Community Involvement

Anderson Homes escaped the job sites, got dressed up, and attended the Magnolia Garden Club Luncheon on March 26 featuring nationally renowned interior designer Marc D. Sikes. We enjoyed visiting with past clients, local interior designers, and listening to Mark.

Employee Spotlight

Jesse Hall flexing

While our new office is definitely “under construction,” the Anderson Artisan’s Job Site Manager and resident strong man, Jesse Hall is just hitting his stride. Jesse has been with the Artisans for 3 years and I don’t know what we ever did without him.

Jesse grew up in China Texas. He is a lifelong practitioner of Parkour, Jiujitsu and Muaythai. I definitely wouldn’t mess with him! I know he makes the trash disappear on the jobsite!

He is also the most polite and thoughtful guy on the job. After visiting with Jesse for just a few minutes, you know that he is very mindful of the task at hand and has worked out the most efficient way to get the job done! Thank you Jesse for all of your hard work; especially on the new office. We wouldn’t be nearly as far along as we are without your help!
